A respected figure in the Japanese tea world, Uejima-san is the only person to have achieved a perfect score in Kyoto’s prestigious tea tasting competition. His teas are featured in the exclusive offerings at the Ritz Carlton Kyoto and served with warmth at the beloved Wazuka Cha Cafe.

The Tempaku 抹茶 is the crown jewel of Uejima Tea Farm—an imperial ceremonial-grade matcha crafted from the rare Uji Hikari and Samidori cultivars. Harvested in spring from the high-elevation fields of Kyotanabe, this matcha offers an elegant, umami-rich experience with a silky texture and lingering sweetness.
